So not only will you be notified by email and / or SMS you can now monitor the actuals on your alarm dashboard. With a configurable time span the page will be uploaded with the latest measurements.

What you’ll see are the latest values measured on each device that has it’s alarm settings configured.

The dashboard will auto scale the odometers. But we think a maximum of 25 odometers is still well readable.

Connect2; our remote monitoring service

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

When we started our business in Septmeber 2005 we had a vision about connecting any kind of device to the Internet. By doing so daily live would become a whole lot easier when it comes to knowing about the whereabouts of your valuable assets. And with assets we are not talking about hardware only. With our Tracktivator you can really track anything as long as the Tracktivator is connected to it. So lost your dog? With the Tracktivator you’ll find it back in no time. Calling your dog an asset is a little crude, we know. Or are we talking about a new breed; the assethound….

So know with our new service, called Connect2, you can monitor any data from any device, even our Tracktivators. The service offers you a secure environment, in which data is being stored and only accessable to you, or the ones you’ve granted access to.

Once your device is connected to the Internet, you define which data is of your interest and in which column you would like to see the data displayed on screen. Next you define what kind of graph you would like to see, based on the data you defined earlier. And we are talking about defining not programming! And this is al done through the website!

You can even modify the layout, so your users will find a known evironment, just like it’s being part of your companies website.

Once you’ve setup your environment, you’ll be able to see all your devices( or customers or users) at once, projected on the cool maps of Open Street Maps; a free and open source alternative to Google, Yahoo and other mapping services which will charge huge license fees when used in a commercial environment.

Then selecting the device you have the latest process data at hand. Just one more click and you’ll have all the graphs in front of you.
